A vitamin, mineral and amino acid paste in a graduated 60ml syringe — a supplementary source of iron, amino acids, minerals and vitamins for horses and dogs.
What it's for
Aids improvement in appetite, helps with the stress of racing and heavy training, and supports general health. Useful for the horse in hard work that's gone flat or off its feed.
Active constituents per ml
Minerals — ferric proteinate 67mg, copper proteinate 2mg, cobalt proteinate 500mcg
Vitamins — nicotinamide 100mg, D-panthenol 15mg, pyridoxine HCl 10mg, folic acid 1mg, cyanocobalamin 150mcg
Amino acids — glycine 20mg, DL-methionine 20mg, L-lysine HCl 20mg, choline bitartrate 15mg, inositol 10mg, biotin 10mcg
Dosage
- Horses — 10ml three times a week
- Dogs — 0.5ml per 10kg three times a week
Place the nozzle in the mouth and deposit the paste as far over the tongue as you can.
Exempt from registration as an oral nutritional compound compliant with Schedule 2 of the ACVM Regulations 2011.
A horse that's persistently flat or off its feed is worth blood testing rather than supplementing blind.

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21–28 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
This difference means we should avoid rugging horses based on how cold we feel. Over-rugging can lead to serious health issues, including metabolic problems and thermoregulatory dysfunction.
Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight

Clipped horses may need a heavier gram fill to stay comfortable.

Remember: horses warm themselves more easily than they cool down under a rug. If unsure, choose a lighter rug.

Check your horse regularly to make sure they are neither too hot nor too cold.

As a general guide, rugging is usually appropriate when temperatures drop below 5–10 °C, but always adjust for your horse’s individual needs.
