Grinds a tablet to powder so it can go through food or into a syringe with a little water — for an animal that will not swallow a tablet whole, whatever you wrap it in.
It comes with a container, so the powder stays in one place rather than half of it ending up on the bench. That matters when the dose is small.
How to use it
Crush, then mix the powder through a small amount of strongly flavoured food — enough that the animal finishes it in one go. Or make it up with water and syringe it slowly into the side of the mouth.
Worth knowing
Check first that the tablet is safe to crush. Slow-release and enteric-coated tablets have those coatings for a reason, and crushing them changes how the medicine is absorbed. Your vet can tell you in a sentence.

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21–28 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
