A stylish snaffle bridle with a classical look and removable flash strap. The noseband has a white stitching and a super soft pillow built-in that reduces pressure and enables a closer, optimized fit around the nose. The headpiece has an air gap over the highest part of the neck, to give maximum freedom for the sensitive nerve tracks, muscle attachments, and ligaments that all attach at the neck. It has also got built up, softly padded edges with an anatomical, oval shape around the ears. The cheekpieces have our elastic Cradles? (solid) which allows the bit to suspend in the horse's mouth. This helps to further relieve the pressure on the poll. The browband has our new, convex PS-button with an extra sturdy clasp that keeps the browband in place and shapes the leather backward and down.
RECOMMENDED FOR HORSES THAT - Are stable and easy to ride - Don't like feeling trapped - May need the support from a flash strap - Are young and/or inexperienced and in the need of a comfortable first noseband
EXTRA FEATURES - Detachable flash strap - Noseband and browband beautifully decorated with white stitches
MATERIAL & CARE Spanish, vegetable-tanned leather. Each bridle is a handmade unique piece. We recommend the bridle to be treated with oil prior to the first use in order to protect and maintain the high quality of the leather. Leather is a natural product that develops over time and may darken slightly when oiled. How to fit your bridle: Look at our size guide prior to your purchase. Put the bridle on your horse. Keep all hang tags on the bridle. If the bridle fits well then you can remove the hang tags, treat the bridle with oil, and then start using it. If the bridle doesn't fit and you need to change the size, do not remove the hang tags and do not oil the leather, just send it back to us to make the exchange.

FAQ
All your questions, answered.

Not sure what rug your horse needs right now? Our free Horse Rug Forecaster checks your local weather and tells you what rug weight your horse needs today, tonight and over the next 3 days. It works anywhere in New Zealand and adjusts for clipped horses and horses that feel the cold.
The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. Humans need it much warmer, at around 25–30 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
This difference means we should avoid rugging horses based on how cold we feel. Over-rugging can lead to serious health issues, including metabolic problems and thermoregulatory dysfunction.
Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight
-
Clipped horses may need a heavier gram fill to stay comfortable.
-
Remember: horses warm themselves more easily than they cool down under a rug. If unsure, choose a lighter rug.
-
Check your horse regularly to make sure they are neither too hot nor too cold.
-
Consider your horse’s age and natural ability to stay warm.
-
As a general guide, a healthy unclipped horse with shelter usually doesn't need a winter rug until it feels colder than about 5 °C, but always adjust for your horse’s individual needs.
-
Always ensure rugs are waterproof. A wet rug is worse than no rug at all.
This is an indicative guide only. Always take into account factors such as wind chill, your horse’s age, weight, and condition. For advice based on your local forecast, try the Horse Rug Forecaster.
