The plug-in version of Pet Remedy — the valerian, vetiver, sweet basil and clary sage blend released slowly into a room, for continuous cover rather than spot treatment.
Because it isn't a pheromone, one diffuser works for every animal in the house at once. That is the advantage over Feliway or Adaptil in a household with both a dog and a cat, or with rabbits and guinea pigs as well.
What it's used for
- Fireworks and thunderstorms
- Moving house, or a new animal arriving
- Separation anxiety in dogs left alone
- Multi-cat tension, and cats settling into a new home
- Rabbits and small pets through bonding or a change of hutch
How to use it
Plug it in where the animals spend their time, out in the open rather than behind furniture, and leave it running. One 40ml refill runs around six to eight weeks and covers roughly 60 square metres.
For fireworks, start it a week or two beforehand.
The refill pack holds two 40ml bottles, and is the better buy once you have the diffuser.

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21–28 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
This difference means we should avoid rugging horses based on how cold we feel. Over-rugging can lead to serious health issues, including metabolic problems and thermoregulatory dysfunction.
Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight

Clipped horses may need a heavier gram fill to stay comfortable.

Remember: horses warm themselves more easily than they cool down under a rug. If unsure, choose a lighter rug.

Check your horse regularly to make sure they are neither too hot nor too cold.

As a general guide, rugging is usually appropriate when temperatures drop below 5–10 °C, but always adjust for your horse’s individual needs.
