The complete set-up — a lamb feeding bottle with the yellow Pritchard teat already fitted. Worth having on hand before lambing rather than after it starts.
The Pritchard teat's flow valve stops the lamb gulping air, which is half the battle with a bottle lamb.
Setting it up
Cut the tip of the teat to suit the lamb — start small, because you can always cut more. A flow that is too fast is how you get milk into the lungs.
Feeding
Feed at body temperature and keep the bottle and teat scrupulously clean between feeds. Get colostrum into a newborn within the first few hours; that matters more than anything else you will do.
A lamb that won't suck at all, or one that is cold and floppy, needs warming and tube feeding rather than a bottle, and is worth a call to your vet.
Spare Pritchard Lamb Teats are sold separately, and there's a Lamb Syringe Feeder with Latex Tube for a lamb too weak to suck.

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21–28 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
This difference means we should avoid rugging horses based on how cold we feel. Over-rugging can lead to serious health issues, including metabolic problems and thermoregulatory dysfunction.
Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight

Clipped horses may need a heavier gram fill to stay comfortable.

Remember: horses warm themselves more easily than they cool down under a rug. If unsure, choose a lighter rug.
