A vitamin B and trace mineral supplement for horses under real workload or stress. Hard work, travel and competition can all suppress red blood cell production, shorten red cell lifespan, or increase losses.
What it does
A concentrated blend of organic iron, copper and B vitamins to support red blood cell production and improve appetite. Formulated for preventing anaemia, maintaining normal blood profiles, and darkening coats.
Why use it
- Built for horses under the rigours of training, racing, competition or travel, and those recovering from illness or injury
- Supplies the nutrients red cell production depends on โ useful when counts are low, or a horse is flat and off its feed
- Fed daily, and before and after fast work, racing, competition or travel
- The trace mineral blend darkens coats, which is worth knowing for show and sale prep
Feeding
A soluble powder โ give in feed or dissolved in water. 15g daily as required.
If a horse is genuinely flat, get bloods done rather than supplementing blind. This supports a horse under load; it doesn't replace a diagnosis.

FAQ
All your questions, answered.

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21โ28 ยฐC, but for horses itโs much broader at 5โ25 ยฐC.
This difference means we should avoid rugging horses based on how cold we feel. Over-rugging can lead to serious health issues, including metabolic problems and thermoregulatory dysfunction.
Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight
-
Clipped horses may need a heavier gram fill to stay comfortable.
-
Remember: horses warm themselves more easily than they cool down under a rug. If unsure, choose a lighter rug.
-
Check your horse regularly to make sure they are neither too hot nor too cold.
-
Consider your horseโs age and natural ability to stay warm.
-
As a general guide, rugging is usually appropriate when temperatures drop below 5โ10 ยฐC, but always adjust for your horseโs individual needs.
-
Always ensure rugs are waterproof. A wet rug is worse than no rug at all.
This is anย indicative guide only. Always take into account factors such as wind chill, your horseโs age, weight, and condition.
