Heiniger's best selling Xplorer has just been upgraded. The all new Heiniger Xplorer Pro Cordless Clipper is ideal for professional horse and cattle clipping. Even more powerful than the Xplorer, the Xplorer Pro has 2 speed settings of 2450 and 2900 dbs/minute and an integrated shearing pressure indicator. Also lighter than the original Xplorer, (weighing just 975 grams) and quieter. The first clipper to date to include a patented tension indicator which provides more precise clipping than ever before and extends the clipper’s life. Due to it's unique double gear wheel, power is optimally transferred from the motor to the clipper head, providing low vibration.
Comes with 2x 10.8v Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries to deliver 120 minutes of clipping time each from a 90 minute recharge, allowing you to clip and charge at the same time for endless run-time. LED power indicator shows battery charge level.

Once your order arrives, you’re welcome to try it on or inspect it in person. There’s absolutely no obligation to purchase—if it’s not quite right, you can leave it with us, no problem at all. If you do decide to keep it, payment can be completed in store at the time of pickup.

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21–28 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
This difference means we should avoid rugging horses based on how cold we feel. Over-rugging can lead to serious health issues, including metabolic problems and thermoregulatory dysfunction.
Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight

Clipped horses may need a heavier gram fill to stay comfortable.

Remember: horses warm themselves more easily than they cool down under a rug. If unsure, choose a lighter rug.
