Made using New Zealand grown Timothy, GM-free, soy-free, lactose-free, and molasses-free, with no added minerals or salts. They are a suitable option for horses and ponies with metabolic issues, offering consistent high quality, dust-free, and with a naturally clean odor.
A little goes a long way. One scoop of Macro Timothy Fiber pellets is equivalent to at least seven scoops of dry chaff. They are easy and convenient to use. The macro-size of these pellets makes them ideal for soaking into a mash. To soften them slightly, just soak in water for 30 minutes. To create a mash, simply cover with water and leave to soak until soft. If using hot water, test the temperature before feeding to prevent harm. You can feed them dry, add to a mash, combine with hard feed, or dampen to hydrate—the choice is yours.
Safe for farm animals and many domestic pets such as rabbits.

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21–28 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
