Fourflax Senior provides key nutrients and functional ingredients to meet the extra needs of older dogs.
Functional ingredients such as milk thistle, flax seed fibre and oligofructose promote a healthy tummy, liver and urinary tract, with high levels of antioxidants from cranberry powder, blueberry powder and pine bark extract to maintain vitality and vigour. Overall health and wellbeing of joints, skin, vision and dental hygiene are also covered by a host of premium quality ingredients. An all-in-one supplement to give your golden oldies some extra love and support!
Ingredients:
Flax seed fibre, oligofructose, cranberry powder, green lipped mussel powder, DHAgold*, glucosamine sulphate, turmeric, marine collagen, natural vitamin E, blueberry powder, milk thistle, pine bark extract, vitamin C, organic zinc, organic copper.
Daily Feeding Recommendation (1tsp scoop enclosed = 5g):
Dogs under 10kg - 1 scoop per day
Dogs 10-20kg - 1.5 scoops per day
Dogs 20-30kg - 2 scoops per day
Dogs over 30kg - 2.5 scoops per day

The thermoneutral zone is the temperature range where the body can maintain its core temperature with little to no extra energy expenditure. For humans, this range is quite narrow at 21–28 °C, but for horses it’s much broader at 5–25 °C.
This difference means we should avoid rugging horses based on how cold we feel. Over-rugging can lead to serious health issues, including metabolic problems and thermoregulatory dysfunction.
Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight

Clipped horses may need a heavier gram fill to stay comfortable.

Remember: horses warm themselves more easily than they cool down under a rug. If unsure, choose a lighter rug.

Check your horse regularly to make sure they are neither too hot nor too cold.

As a general guide, rugging is usually appropriate when temperatures drop below 5–10 °C, but always adjust for your horse’s individual needs.
