Bombers Eggbutt Waterford Bit. Also available in bradoon eggbutt (55mm rings).
The Eggbutt cheek piece prevents pinching of the lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure
The Waterford bit has many smooth flexible bobbles which spread the pressure making it a light mouthpiece. The greater flexibility discourages a horse from leaning on it, it also promotes mouthing and salivation. The Waterford is usually worn 5mm - 10mm longer than your traditional mouthpiece in order to curl around the tongue and maximise the effect.

Tips for Choosing a Winter Rug Weight
