Since 2016 NZ Tack Saddlery Co has been creating horse covers designed specifically for Kiwi horses living in New Zealand weather. We continue to design great horse rugs, but we have evolved into a full service tack shop with a huge range of horse gear and rider apparel.
We are passionate about really great horse covers. We want our horse rugs and summer sheets to fit well, wear well and last well - and we want YOU to be delighted with our products and our service. that means that as well as NZ Tack Saddlery Co Rugs, we also stock all the top horse rug brands you know and love. In addition to this, our tack shop collections have expanded to include horse riding clothing, helmets, riding boots, horse feed and equine supplements - and more horse gear than we reckon you can name in ten minutes! We are also agents for Ringers Western and Outback Trading Co so even non horse riders can find an outfit they love... and Western boots, cowboy hats, oilskins, jeans and more! We are excited for what the future holds at NZ Tack Saddlery, and cannot wait to share our ideas with you!

Sharni grew up around horses, and while she doesn’t currently have her own, she still rides regularly with her friends and their horses. She also enjoys 4x4 driving, exploring our beautiful country and is always available to help a friend in need.
Sharni started NZ Tack Saddlery Co in 2016 with a goal to create quality horse covers designed for NZ horses while providing a seamless customer experience. NZ Tack has developed into a brand that stocks global equestrian brands, and works alongside other NZ owned businesses, to stock a comprehensive range of horse rugs, rider wear and horse care products.

April started riding as a kid and the passion grew from there riding through the Pony Club levels and then going on to work with horses both in NZ and the UK.
You may recognise her from her time spent at Farmlands Tauranga as the instore Equine Specialist. April now organises nztack’s social media and email marketing as well as keeping the store ticking over day to day

Lisa's passion for horses began in childhood, inspired by her late father, who was involved in racing, hunting, and show jumping. Lisa now takes great pride in supporting her daughter's show jumping pursuits and relishes in the excitement of hunting during the season.
Now at NZ Tack, Lisa has helped us develop a premium selection of horse feed and she's the ideal person to talk to if your horse has special nutrition needs.
